Denis Leary and Ray Romano both appeared in the Ice Age series (2002-present)
Line of Events
It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion, which they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show rated so low, but it made more sense when I saw several reviews explaining how they didn’t make it past the first episode.
I really like the cast and everyone’s performances
The show is a slow-burn mystery that may not be for everyone. I personally found it funny and entertaining, with a typical Liz Feldman tone, which I like.
All the different characters have their own subplots, forming a tangled web of chaos that gradually, though not completely, unravels
I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first due to my own prejudices (for the life of me I couldn’t tell him from Everyone Loves Raymond), but that faded away pretty quickly. Up until the last episode, I was pretty excited about the story, despite figuring out the main plot very early on.
I’m not mad about it, though
I’d love to see more of this show, and I really hope they get a second season. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly — here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
